Eventually, the need for advertising gave rise to the creation of different posters and other promotional material, of which some can be seen here. In the spirit of concert posters from San Francisco in the 60's, source ideas for posters can come from many diverse areas. For instance, using a well-known painting from the-turn-of-the-century as the basis for an artistic concept, or maybe computer-generated fractal geometries. A photograph of nebulae from the Hubble Telescope could work along-side a 16-century anatomy illustration. There are of course, endless possibilities.
